uniquehardwarets.no-ip.org is going to be going through some big changes, very shortly.
We're going to upgrade the server to ESXi 5. From there, we're going to put on Fedora 16 and Server 2008 R2. Our Terraria sever is going to get a large facelift.
This process should only take a few days, and will start sometime after the twenty-second.

Michael Geist is reporting that a new Wikileaks cable confirms that the Canadian Conservative government delayed introducing a Canadian DMCA in early 2008 due to public opposition. The US cable notes confirmation came directly from then-Industry Minister Jim Prentice, who told U.S. Ambassador David Wilkins that cabinet colleagues and Conservative MPs were worried about the electoral implications of copyright reform.
Why are we voting in the Conservatives? Geez guys.

"Readers looking to build a new mid-range PC would do well to take a good look at Intel's Sandy Bridge processors. In fact, we would find it hard to recommend anything other than an LGA1155 (Sandy Bridge) chip and associated motherboard as the guts of a mid-range system."

"There are numerous all in one devices competing in the SOHO marketspace. For a product to distinguish itself it has to be affordable, intuitive and easy to configure and use, utilize current technology effectively, or have some key features that give a competitive edge to the businesses that invest their hard earned tech buying dollars. In a field crowded with excellent products, the Epson WorkForce 840 is one such stand out. It is simple to configure and set up. Its intuitive and feature rich interface permits a very gentle learning curve, it is compact, 'green, blazingly fast, feature packed, and given the strong competitive environment, surprisingly affordable."

"For those of you who lived under a rock last year and completely missed out on the BMW Group Designworks USA inspired Level 10, Let me bring you up to speed real quick. To understand this design, you have to first envision a thick, vertically mounted motherboard tray attached to a wide flat base. Unlike a typical chassis', there wasn't the "boxed" look with this chassis at all. In this design everything was mounted to the motherboard tray for support. In the front you had and optical bay rack that was in a separate compartment than the hard drive, and which each received their own slim covers. The top half of the motherboard used a small cover to go over the CPU cooler and PWM area of the motherboard, while yet another hinged compartment covered the expansion cards. This design is very unique, and was very impressive upon release. The biggest problem with the Level 10 I saw was the devastating price tag!"

"In this article, Benchmark Reviews tests the Crucial m4 solid state drive against several of the fastest consumer storage devices available. Based on the Marvell 88SS9174-BLD2 SSD processor, this SATA 6 Gb/s drive is claimed to provide 415 MB/s reads and 260 MB/s writes with up to 90,000 IOPS. We've tested the Crucial m4 SSD against its older sibling, the Crucial RealSSD C300, to measure comparative performance differences. The 256GB model CT256M4SSD2 Crucial m4 also competes with the latest SandForce and Indilinx-based solid state drives, and our SSD test results show which product leads the consumer storage market."
