Sony Viral Marketing | Wednesday, 13 December 2006 | 08:07
In case you've just heard about this, Sony, the company that loves/hates you, is being quite interesting in their marketing strategy...
Instead of creating a wonderful array of games for their system(s), and let the word of mouth be advertising enough, they'd rather resort to drawing illegal graffiti.
Seriously, they're illegally drawing graffiti of wigger children playing a PSP. That's another thing that's so fucked up about this... Sony markets to us, and they think we're all wiggers.
To clinch this sour bullshit deal, Sony created a fake blog, under the pretence it's a real blog, and that it's owner talks like a fucking moron.
Whoa. Again I stand amazed how stupid companies can be.
Take-Two Signs In-Game Ad Deal | Tuesday, 5 December 2006 | 13:26
Take-Two Interactive has signed a deal with the Double Fusion company for in-game ads. The company has been signed on for somewhere around nine of titles in 2007 and 2008.
"'With respect to dynamic ads, we can only serve dynamic ads as platforms authorize that,' Double Fusion CEO and president Jonathan Epstein told GameSpot. 'And right now, Sony and Nintendo, who have been very busy launching platforms, are still formulating their policies in that regard. So our arrangement is contingent on those platforms authorizing in-game advertising in the first place, and then authorizing Double Fusion as a vendor. We're hopeful that during the time of the deal... we'll see such authorizations and approvals.'"
